The European Tour is back this week after the WGC event in Mexico and we are heading back to the middle east and this time Oman. The Al Mouj course has been part of the European Challenge Tour and their end of season finale Race to Oman series. That has now become the Road to Ras Al Khaimah and the Oman Open had its inaugural event last year on the full European Tour Schedule.

The Al Mouj course sits on two-kilometer stretch of pristine coastline, flanked by the Sea of Oman and the stunning Hajjar mountain range. The 7,342-yard course is Oman’s first links style golf course, but this is more an American style links with lush vibrant green grass with waste areas, fairway bunkers, water hazards, fast true running greens and natural dunes.
