TaylorMade P790 2019 Irons: First Look with video

TAP-original-300-1TaylorMade have released their latest version of the P700 series of irons with the new P·790 & P·790 Ti Players Distance Irons with its SpeedFoam technology and refined shaping, which TaylorMade state combines performance, feel and aesthetics. They also claim the forged iron delivers remarkable distance, playability and combines feel with a refined topline in a more compact blade length, that has a reduced offset.

The new 2019 P·790 features a 7% thinner face and is designed to produce a faster COR and includes Progressive Inverted Cone TechTAP-original-300-2nology (PICT) helping to improved accuracy throughout the set. The thinner face also maintains sound and feel but enhances feedback even on off-centre strikes.

Behind the face of the new P·790 is TaylorMade’s SpeedFoam technology, a proprietary construction which serves a dual purpose of generating ball speed as well as the management of sound and feel. Injected into the clubhead, SpeedFoam provides face support and damping properties.
