The European Tour stays on mainland Europe moving to Germany for the Porsche European Open at the Green Eagle Golf Courses in Hamburg. The 7,582-yard North Course is one of the longest on the European Tour and takes up an impressive 86 hectares of the complex and opened for play in 2008.

The complex was the brainchild of Michael Blesch and Ralf Lühmann back in 1997. Blesch designed the courses and the championship North Course incorporates water on nearly every hole, with some spectacular bunkering and natural amphitheatres. Green Eagle previously played host to the ECCO Tour Championship on the European Challenge Tour in 2010.
