The PGA Tour now moves north across the border and into Canada for the RBC Canadian Open, which will be hosted this year by another new venue on the rotor Oakdale Golf and Country Club.
The club was founded in 1926 who hired Canadian golf course architect legend Stanley Thompson to design the initial nine holes, which he then added another nine too a few years later. Another Canadian golf course design legend C.E Robinson added a further nine holes in 1957 making it a 27-hole complex. The original two nine became known as the Thompson and the Homenuik.
