Be clear about defining a particular thing that you want to accomplish during your visit to the golf course or practice area. For example, do you want to “have a good time” or maybe to hit three more really good golf shots than the round before. It could be to get out of every bunker in one shot or to have a maximum number of putts per hole. It might simply be to relax or to stay in a positive state of mind. State it and hold that intention throughout your round.
