Hunter Mahan won the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship this past weekend with bag full of Ping Golf clubs, but it was his putter that stole the show.
Mahan used a Ping Nome “Straight” Stroke putter in Tucson. He put the putter into play shortly before the WHC event. Want a Nome putter? They won’t be available until April.

In addition to the Nome putter, Mahan played a Ping G20 driver (9.5 degrees), G20 3-wood (15 degrees) and an i15 hybrid (17 degrees). Mahan played Ping S56 irons (3-9, PW) and Ping Anser Forged wedges (56 and 60 degrees.
Ping Golf also scored big at the Mayakoba Classic as winner John Huh used a Ping G20 driver (7.5 degrees) and Ping S57 irons (3-9, PW) along with a Ping Tour W 52 degree wedge and a Tour W LW (Thin Sole) Rustique finish (58 degrees). Huh’s putter a Ping Scottsdale Wolverine C model.
But wait, there’s more. Angela Stanford won the HSBC Women’s Champions in Singapore with a Ping i20 driver (10.5 degrees), G20 3 wood (15 degrees), G15 7 wood (21.5 degrees) and a G20 (23 degree) hybrid. She also used the i20 (5-9) irons and Tour S wedges (47, 52, 56, 60). Stanford’s putter was a Scottsdale Anser2.
