Woods’ former teacher Haney jumps to TaylorMade

Famed golf teacher Hank Haney

Hank Haney has traded in his Nike Swoosh for a TaylorMade Golf logo. Tiger Woods’ former swing coach has signed with TaylorMade to play and teach with its equipment, wear the TaylorMade logo on his headwear and shirt sleeve and using a TaylorMade staff bag. Maybe somebody in Carlsbad, Calif., should update Haney’s web site as it still has him wearing Nike Golf product.

Haney, who is represented by Octagon, has authored four books on golf instruction and produced 14 instructional DVD titles, in addition to leading more than 40,000 golf lessons around the world during the course of his career. He also serves as Director of Instruction for the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy in Hilton Head, South Carolina and operates the Hank Haney Mission Hills Academy at Mission Hills on Hainan Island in China. Haney is President of Hank Haney Golf Inc., which owns and operates four golf facilities in Texas.
