Callaway Golf today officially unveiled a new MD3 Milled Wedges line extension, with three new additions to the lineup: a 50-degree W Grind, 52-degree W Grind and a 64-degree C Grind. These line extensions will be at retail on June 3 at a suggested retail price of $129.99 each.
Callaway’s MD3 Milled Wedge
For the new 50- and 52-degree options, Callaway said it has these lofts available in their wide W-Grind with cambered soles, providing great turf interaction and controlled trajectory. Callaway said it’s a setup that allows golfers to flight the ball low and make aggressive swings with their gap wedge, especially if they have a steep attack angle.
With the 64-degree option, Callaway said golfers can be even more aggressive with their shotmaking around the greens. They can also open the face without the leading edge coming up and make fuller swings on approach shots.
Each wedge, according to Callaway, feature MD3 Milled technology, including progressive groove optimization with a three-groove package, and advanced shaping and design from Roger Cleveland. Each wedge will be in Satin Chrome and Matte Black finishes.
