Ping launches Anser forged iron

Ping Golf’s new Anser forged irons each feature a tungsten weight and internal cavity above the sole positioned close to the face to optimize the center of gravity (CG) and elevate (moment of inertia (MOI).

The company says “predictable ball flights” are achieved through progressive stabilizing bar technology. In the long irons, the bars angle out wider and are thinner, lowering the CG to launch the ball high. The bars get increasingly vertical and thicker through the shorter irons for more controlled, penetrating trajectories with high spin.

Ping says a progressive set design makes it easy to launch the ball higher with the long irons and lower with the short irons.

The Anser forged irons are available in 3-PW with a suggested retail price of $200 per club.

Thank you PING. I have been looking for another set of unaffordable irons and now I have found them. Whip-de-do you finally made a forged iron. Its not like you invented the wheel for crying out loud. $200 per cub? C’mon!
