The young Irishman, who had been playing Titleist equipment, is expected to play Nike equipment and play the company’s next-generation 20XI golf ball.
McIlroy’s joining Nike Golf has been expected for the past couple of months, with money reports upwards of $250 million over 10 years. Recent reports, however, have indicated that figure is high.
Along with Tiger Woods, McIIroy will give Nike Golf the two highest-profile players in the game and two of the more popular athletes in world today.
