Bridgestone Golf has added more depth its professional staff. The company has signed LPGA star Karrie Webb to play its new generation Tour B330-RX golf ball and wear a Bridgestone glove. Webb, who had been playing Srixon golf balls, joins Bridgestone’s LPGA roster that that includes Paula Creamer, Sophie Gustafson and Ai Miyazato. Webb is defending champion of this week’s HSBC Women’s Champions tournament in Singapore.

At last week’s Honda LPGA event in Thailand, Webb and Creamer each carded aces with a Tour B330-RX ball.

The Tour B330-RX ball features the Bridgestone’s Dual Dimple Technology cover whereby, according to the company, the cover’s smaller inner dimples increase thrust power at launch for greater distance while the larger outer dimples promote a shallow angle of descent for increased roll out on landing.

Webb has amassed 38 LPGA victories, seven major championships and 10 international victories during her Hall of Fame career. She is one of only six women to have achieved the LPGA’s Career Grand Slam.

Watch and listen as Bridgestone Director of Marketing Brandon Sowell describes the technology behind the Tour B330-RX golf ball.
