Grafalloy White Blue shaft paying early dividends for True Temper

Marcel Siem won the French open this past weekend with a new Grafalloy White Blue driver shaft, the next generation of the original Grafalloy Blue shaft from True Temper Sports.

“It’s designed with the same ball flight characteristics, but incorporates the very best of today’s new composite material technologies,” said Chad Hall, director of product marketing and global tour operations for True Temper Sports. “We unveiled the shaft in May at the BWM PGA Championship, and we obviously didn’t have to wait too long to see some very dramatic results. We’re extremely excited to see the White Blue win so quickly.”

Hall said the Grafalloy White Blue features the same tour bend profile as the Grafalloy Blue, but the new design capitalizes on new material technology that uses low resin content and ultra-thin aerospace grade graphite fiber. The result, according to Hall, is greater performance for strong players and enhanced stability and feel. The Grafalloy White Blue is slated for availability to consumers later this year.
