Scott, Donald first to win with new Titleist ProV1 prototype balls

Adam Scott and Luke Donald set milestones yesterday when each became the first players to win with the new Titleist Pro V1 golf ball. Scott used a Titleist Pro V1 prototype golf ball to win the Australian Masters; Donald won the Dunlop Phoenix in Japan with a Titleist Pro V1x prototype ball.

“It has a little different trajectory, the spin around the greens gives me the control that I want, and the feel is fantastic,” Scott said the Pro V1.

In addition to the ball, Scott played a bag full of Titleist clubs:  910D3 driver (9.5), 910F fairway metal (15), prototype 712U utility iron (19), MB irons (3-9), Vokey Design SM4 pitching (48), sand (54) and lob (60) wedges and Scotty Cameron Kombi Long putter.
