The European Tour is back and pitches up in the North of Ireland for the ISPS HANDA World Invitational at Galgorm Castle a course that I have had the pleasure of playing a few times now and once played in the Northern Ireland Open ProAM an event that is played annually on the Challenge Tour, but also held before the Irish Open two years ago.
Galgorm Castle is a course that has matured well with age, unfortunately the weather today isn’t as nice as yesterday but I crash my driver down the fairway on this 437-yard dogleg right hole it is certainly a testing opener for both amateurs and professionals. The 2nd is another dogleg right played to a long thin green.
