The European Tour moves back to Spain this time south to Andalucía for the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters at the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior.
This was the first golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones in Europe and opened for play in 1964. The course is located close to the beachfront between the river Guadiaro and Sotogrande marina and has been voted among the top ten golf courses in Europe. “Sotogrande Old”, as it is known by locals, features mature vegetation with cork, eucalyptus, pine and giant palm trees enhancing the natural beauty of the surroundings.
