The Expandable 21″ Spinner is available in soft and hard sides
With grandchildren now living in Austin, TX and Washington D.C, my wife and I are frequent and happy travelers. But given the state of travel, we’ve learned to pack light and use only carry-on bags. (Golf clubs are whole another matter.) Anyway, the best carry-on luggage we’ve found is the Travelpro brand and its Crew 9 travel collection.
A particular favorite is the 21” Expandable Spinner carry-on model. As its name suggests, the spinner moves effortlessly in any direction due to its 4-wheel construction allowing one to easily push or pull it along busy concourses. Made of high quality and durable materials, the sealed in-line skate wheels work like a charm and offer smooth sailing.
Another asset of the Crew 9 model is its super strong and PowerScope extension handle. When fully extended, the PowerScope is sturdy enough to support a tote or a case while lending no wobble. At the top, one will find a soft, ergonomically-sound contour grip that makes pushing/pulling the carry-on a breeze without any undue fatigue on your arms and shoulders. On the outside of the piece, there are two padded sleeves to handle a computer or some reading material. Inside, you’ll find a handy mesh pocket which I use to store my cables and chargers for electronic devices. There’s also a zippered and clear (for TSA eyes) pocket to pack approved personal care items. A neat little touch is a blue zipper pull that quickly identifies the expansion zipper. The expansion feature allows an added 2 1/2” of packing space on selected models. It comes in handy when packing a suit by using the included drop-in sleeve. Colors selections are either black or titanium gray.
Quality items may cost a bit more but they hold up longer and withstand the rigors of use and time. In sum, Travelpro Crew 9 Expandable Spinner is an ideal gift for any occasion. But hey, let’s start with Father’s Day or Graduation Day. Highly recommended for either celebration.
