New York: Presidents Cup 2017

Witness Thrilling Drama in the Shadow of the Statue of Liberty!

Carving its own golf niche in golf lore, the Presidents Cup has emerged as a prestigious international golf event. While it may not have the history of the Ryder Cup, it has become the ultimate stage for the world´s very best (non-European) golfers, who are playing for their teammates, country and pride!

With the match-play format further accentuating the intensity of the competition – the “Play the man, not the course” atmosphere, adversarial confrontations, over-the-top crowds and the incomparable pressure, the Presidents Cup has become a highly sought-after golf event.

The Presidents Cup 2015, hosted in South Korea, was broadcast to approximately 1 billion homes in 226 countries and territories, generating tons of excitement and hype. The United States got a scare from the International squad on Sunday, but ended up winning one of the most thrilling Presidents Cups ever by just one point 15.5 – 14.5

In September 2017, the eyes of the world will once again be watching the golfing stars when the United States and the International Team fight head-to-head for the prestigious trophy that weighs 28 pounds and is vermeil in 24-carat gold – all at an iconic setting right across the Bay from Manhattan. You will have the opportunity to share in the excitement and get close to the stars! You will walk with Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, Rickie Fowler or Hideki Matsuyama on the most expensive golf course ever built and cheer for your favorite team. Will the International Team led by Nick Price and Ernie Els arrive ready to avenge its narrow defeat in 2015? Will U.S. Team Captains Steve Stricker, Tiger Woods and Fred Couples stand the monumental pressure when trying to continue the U.S. Team’s success on home soil?
