Lady Precept golf ball changing name to Bridgestone Golf Lady Precept

Bridgestone Golf is changing the name of its iconic Lady Precept golf ball to Bridgestone Golf Lady Precept. The original Lady Precept Line, introduced 13 years ago, was popular with female and male golfers and helped usher in the era of lower compression balls that still exists.

The name change will go into effect July 1.

Utilizing data from more than 14,000 live fittings, Bridgestone says it has developed a ball engineered specifically for the average female golf swing.  The ball, according to Bridgestone, features a larger Gradational Compression Core for better performance at moderate swing speeds; a 12 percent thinner cover for higher launch and less spin; and a 330 seamless dimple cover that optimizes aerodynamics for moderate swing speeds.

The Bridgestone Golf Lady Precept will be available in three colors (White, Optic Pink & Optic Yellow) and will have a suggested retail price of $19.99 per dozen.
