Rose gets first major victory for TaylorMade Lethal golf ball

It was a U.S. Open of firsts at Merion Golf Club. TaylorMade-adidas Golf staffer Justin rose garnered his first major victory; TMaG got its first U.S. Open victory in nine years; and the company recorded its first major victory with the Lethal golf ball.

Rose, who carded a one-over par 281 to win by two shots, also wore one-of-a-kind Ashworth Golf Cardiff footwear featuring his initials (JR) and his children’s names (Leo and Lottie) on the heel patch, in celebration of Father’s Day. The shirt he wore is part of the Ashworth Tournament Collection.

Rose’s victory at Merion was the 20th worldwide victory for TaylorMade’s R1 driver.
