You can go home again. Just ask David Duval. The former world No. 1 has re-signed with Nike Golf. Duval, who hasn’t been a significant presence on the PGA Tour since 2009, was the first player to win a major championship (2001 Open Championship) with Nike golf clubs.
Duval, who made only three cuts on Tour in 2012, will play the company’s new Nike VR_S Covert driver. He will also game the Nike VR Pro Limited Edition fairway wood, Nike VR Pro Blade irons, Nike VR Pro wedges and a Nike Method Prototype putter. Duval also will play Nike’s new 20XI-X golf ball and wear Nike Golf apparel from its Tour Performance Collection and the new Nike Lunar Control footwear.
