A golf watcher tweeted Thursday that Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow, who played in this week’s St. Jude Classic pro-am in Memphis, sported two golf gloves, a la PGA Tour pro Tommy “Two Gloves” Gainey. What the tweetist neglected to mention was that the University of Florida grad had biceps the size of Rhode Island.
Seriously, look at the photo and tell me you’re looking at Tebow’s hands. Okay, the golfer in the photo sports only one glove, but his meaty paws are clad in white leather in other shots that have hit the web.
While some wondered whether Tebow’s popping tendons were real (his pal and manager Angel Gonzalez tweeted that the “pic” was “100% real, no photoshop”), it’s not difficult to believe if you saw his shoulders practically bursting out of his pin-stripe suit during a recent “Daily Show.”
The 23-year-old Tebow’s been making the rounds of late, peddling his autobiography, “Through My Eyes.”
