It didn’t take long for the Titleist prototype 913 fairway metals to achieve success on the PGA Tour. Rory McIlroy put two of the prototype Low Spin fairway woods (13.5 degrees, 18 degrees) in play en route to his victory at the Deutsche Bank. McIlroy also played a Titleist prototype 913D3 driver (8.5) as well as Titleist MB (712) irons, Titleist Vokey wedges, a Titleist Scotty Cameron putter and Titleist Pro V1x golf ball.
McIlroy had playd Titleist 906F 3 and 5 metals for the majority of his professional career. He replaced his 18-degree 906F2 5-metal at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational with a Titleist 910F 17-degree model. McIlroy played the 910F again one week later when he won the PGA Championship.
