McIlroy runs roughshod over PGA Championship field in FootJoy FJ Sport shoes

Not only did Rory McIlroy win the 2012 PGA Championship with a bag full of Titleist clubs clubs and a Titleist Pro V1x ball, he ran roughshod over the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island in pair of sister company FotJoy’s FJ Sport golf shoes with ProStinger model spikes from Champ Sports.

McIlroy, who won the tournament by a record eight shots,  also wore a FootJoy Pure Touch Limited glove.

Mcllroy’s victory gave FootJoy a sweep of all four major championships. Players wearing FootJoy shoes have now won 64 percent of the tournaments on the 2012 PGA Tour. Players wearing FootJoy gloves have won 16 times on Tour this year.
