Shortly after their arrival at Crispy’s Chips in Idaho’s flatlands, Birkman is kidnapped. The main suspect is none other than Russet, Birkman’s one-time partner. With the help of Crispy’s Oil Manager Ardnas and the beautiful flight attendant Jenny, Billy haltingly pursues Birkman and Russet into the mountains, to a penultimate stand-off at Russet’s rustic compound, a to-scale model of the “potato chip factory of the future”.
