Revolved Golf Warrior

Revolved Golf Warrior

This multi-tasking posture is great for the driving range.  Start by stepping the right foot forward into a balanced lunge position.  With a wide grip of the golf club, slowly raise it overhead with lengthened arms. From there, gently rotate towards the bent knee.  Hold for 5-10 breathes and then repeat on the other side.

Revolved Golf Warrior improves flexibility in the spine, hips and shoulders.  It also challenges balance. All these elements lead to an effortless backswing and proper weight shift in the golf swing.

Try this stretch before you play to help increase your shoulder turn and finish in a properly balanced follow through position.
