The last New York Times article I linked to was pretty awful. This one–a conversation between NYT columnists Gail Collins and David Brooks–is pretty funny and does raise some interesting points. Yes, it is a bit simplistic, especially to those of us who have been in the golf industry for years or closely follow the game. But at least someone is saying something a bit new and different about the Tiger Scandal.
But the idea that Tiger would actually do something good for women as part of his penance? As one of the responses to the conversation puts it, hasn’t he done enough for women already?
Anyhow, this is worth your time no matter your political association or sense of humor. That said, be prepared for a few assaults on both along the way. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
