At the brand-new and luxurious Streamsong Resort Lodge in central Florida , a most unusual amenity awaits the guest. As you enter your mini-suite-like room, taking note of the comfortable couch, the marble-topped island with two HD TVs placed back to back, the tasteful wood accents throughout, and even the shelf of books for your perusal, it is easy to overlook the small recess in the interior wall. Nestled in that recess is a box with the Streamsong logo on the front, and the customary Titleist script on the sides. Within the box: four ProV1s, each with the resort logo as well.
Will there be another box there tomorrow? Unlikely, but hope springs eternal. Regardless, this novelty gets my vote for Best New Way to A Golfer’s Heart.
