For starters, the trip is escorted by LPGA legend Amy Alcott, who possesses one of the great short games in history, and she will happily be dispensing golf tips to her fellow guests. Another highly regarded teaching pro, Jay Williamson, will also be on hand to give one-one-one swing instruction throughout, and the two will rotate among the very small number of guests everyday playing in different foursomes. Since this trip may include as few as five foursomes, that is a lot of face time!
Here is the other highlight: All participants also get their own special tournament, incorporated into the first round of the 2-day Solheim Cup, the women’s version of the Ryder Cup, which will pit the best women players in the world against each other on the Lough Erne course.
