Standing Forward Bend (Utanasana) is a fundamental golf stretch that lengthens muscles in the back of the legs (hamstrings, calves, etc.). When these muscles are healthy and flexible, improvement occurs in the set up position, lower body rotation and decreased occurrence of lower back injuries.
